Email signatures for insurance

Insurance email signatures for renewal season.

Brokers and advisers write to clients at the moments that matter: renewal, a claim, a change in cover. A recognisable face, a claims line nobody has to hunt for, and renewal reminders on a schedule.

The short answer

What should an insurance broker's email signature include?

Your name, role and firm, a direct line, a separate claims number if clients call it, your website, and the regulatory statement your firm requires, as plain text under the signature. A photo helps a client recognise the person handling their policy.

01

A claims line nobody has to hunt for.

When something goes wrong, a client searches their inbox for your last email. Put the claims number in the signature, where it is in every email you have ever sent them.

02

Renewal season on a schedule.

Make a campaign for each renewal push with start and end dates and a priority, and it runs itself: "Renewing soon? We check the market for you" while it is true, and gone when it is not.

03

Quiet and trustworthy.

Choose a design with a single movement on the photo. The first frame is the finished photo, so clients on older Outlook see a complete signature.

Questions

What brokers ask

What do recipients using Outlook see?

Current Outlook plays the animation unless animation effects are switched off in Windows; older versions show the first frame. Every design starts on its finished frame, so either way they see a complete signature.

Can the banner change without me reinstalling the signature?

Yes, with campaigns switched on. Your signature carries one banner slot that is filled when the email is opened, so a campaign you schedule appears under every email that shows it, including ones sent before it started (a mail app that has already shown an email may keep its copy). Campaigns have start and end dates and 3 priority levels.

Does it track when people open my emails?

No. There is no tracking pixel in any signature. Clicks on your signature's own links are counted, and that can be switched off on your dashboard.

How much does it cost?

Your first month is free, with no card needed. After that it is £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year in the UK, €2.99 or €29.99 where the euro is the currency, and US$2.99 or US$29.99 everywhere else, with tax included, and you can cancel at any time.
