01
The questions compliance asks.
- What is stored?
- The signature's text and images, and a daily count of clicks per link. No emails, no recipients.
- Is anything tracked?
- No opens: there is no pixel. Link clicks are counted, and tracking can be switched off for good.
- Where are images hosted?
- On our storage at assets.animatedsignature.com, served over HTTPS.
- Can a link be changed after sending?
- A signature's own links cannot. A campaign banner's link is chosen when the email is opened, which is why campaigns are opt-in.
02
Regulatory statements as text.
The wording your regulator requires goes in your mail client's signature box, under the signature, as plain text. It stays legible with images off and is never baked into an image that could fail to load.
03
Established, not flashy.
Choose a design with one slow movement, or none worth noticing: the first frame is always the finished photo, so in Outlook with animation off it is a well-made still signature.
